Spirit keeps only what it needs to remember your teas and your steeps. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for ads.

1. What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture.

We also store what you create in the app: your tea library, brewing sessions with their steep times and tasting notes, brewing plans and your settings.

2. The tea assistant

When you use the assistant, your messages and the tea details you give it are sent to Anthropic, which runs the Claude model that writes the answer. The assistant may search the web to look up a tea.

We keep a count of how many requests you make each month, so that usage stays within limits.

3. How we use it

Your data is used only to run Spirit: to identify your account and keep your tea collection and history. We do not sell or share it, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Where it is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase, in a PostgreSQL database hosted in Europe, and protected with industry-standard security practices.

If you share a tea, anyone with the link can see that tea card. Nothing else from your account is shown.

5. Your rights

You can export your data, or delete your account together with all of its data, at any time from Settings.
